Palo Santos

$12

Palo Santos is a tree native to Peru, used to release negative energies and cleanse your space.

Burn as an incense to release its soothing aroma.

Palo Santo or “holy wood”, is a fragrant sacred tree that grows on the coast of South America. Palo Santo is part of the citrus family and has sweet notes of pine, mint and lemon.

For centuries Palo Santo sticks have been burnt by Shamans in rituals to purify and cleanse their space, as well as to ward off negative energies and promote healing. Palo Santo is also burnt as an incense, and a natural way to repel mosquitos.

These sticks are made from sustainably wild harvested from Palo Santo trees which have naturally fallen and matured on the forest floor, a practice that is regulated by the government of Peru.

To use Palo Santo for smudging, light the end of the palo santo stick, letting it burn briefly, before blowing it out and letting the smoke waft around the space that needs clearing and cleansing. If used as part of a ritual your intent should be in the fore-of-your mind.

The bundle comes in 4 sticks wrapped in cotton string. Each stick measures about 4" long and varies in thickness.
